Their nutrient and organoleptic features do not change significantly during heat processing. They are tasty, nutritious and rich in protein and fibre and are used to prepare tasty stews, as well as to accompany various meat dishes.

Apart from fibre, green beans are rich in nutrients such as silicon, which is a very important element for maintaining the mineral balance and thickness of bones as well as for keeping the connective tissue healthy.
