Accessibility Statement

Podravka Group is committed to ensuring digital accessibility of its web and mobile content for all users, including persons with disabilities. We continuously work on improving the user experience and applying relevant accessibility standards.

This accessibility statement applies exclusively to the domain www.podravkagrupa.com.

Standards and guidelines
Our website has been tested against:

– WCAG 2.2 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)

– EN 301 549 (European standard for ICT accessibility)

Our goal is to comply with these guidelines and provide equal access to information for all users.

Compliance status

The website is currently partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines. An independent audit identified barriers that make access to certain content and functionalities more difficult.

The independent accessibility audit was conducted by Infinum d.o.o. in October 2025. The evaluation included semi-automated testing using tools (Lighthouse, Axe) and manual testing via keyboard and screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack), as well as other accessibility settings available on mobile and desktop devices, in accordance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidelines.

Most significant identified barriers

Critical barriers: inability to use filters and product lists via keyboard or screen reader, text does not enlarge up to 200% without loss of content, search and navigation are not fully accessible to VoiceOver and TalkBack users.

High significance: insufficient color contrast, lack of alternative descriptions for images, inability to stop automatic video content, navigation and language/theme elements inaccessible via keyboard.

Medium and lower significance: incorrect heading hierarchy, redundant alt descriptions on images, issues with focus and screen orientation on mobile devices.

A detailed report on the conducted audit is available upon request.

What we are doing

Podravka has started the process of removing the identified barriers. We plan to:

– improve contrast and typography,

– ensure that all content can be used with a keyboard and screen readers,

– add alternative descriptions to images,

– provide user controls for video content,

– adjust the heading structure and navigation.

– We expect that most critical issues will be resolved by the end of 2025.
