Custard filling
Custard slices are one of the most popular cakes, from Samobor to Paris. This cream needs no cooking. To prepare, just add 800 mL milk.
This cream can be used to make cream slices or decorative cups in combination with fruit, ladyfingers, liqueurs and Dolcela whipped cream. You can also use it to prepare other desserts, like roulades, cakes and cookies.

Add contents of packet to 800 mL cold milk. Beat gently with an electric mixer, then continue beating for 3 minutes at the highest speed. Immediately transfer cream onto puff pastry crust (20×25 cm), smooth out surface and cover with second crust (you can precut into squares). Refrigerate for three hours, sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into slices.
