Adria d.d., a joint stock company engaged in fishing, and the processing and trading of fish, signed an agreement with Podravka in Zagreb on 2 June 2003. In this way Podravka has become the distributor of Adria's tinned fish products. The agreement was signed by Milivoj Jošić, President of the Adria d.d. Management Board and Darko Marinac, President of the Podravka d.d. Management Board.

The seventh tranche of commercial papers in the amount of HRK 52 million was issued yesterday by Podravka, over a 182-day period and with a nominal yield of 4.45%. During the previous year-long programme for the issuing of commercial papers, Podravka successfully put up for sale six tranches of commercial papers in the total amount of HRK 240 million, while the current value of commercial papers in circulation amounts to HRK 130 million.

At today's meeting, the Supervisory Board of Podravka approved the revised financial reports on the business operations of the Podravka Group in 2002. The Podravka Group operated successfully in 2002, achieving the growth and development goals as outlined in its strategy. Growth was achieved by increasing own sales (organic growth), through strategic partnerships (Nestle), and through the acquisitions of food companies in the region (Ital-Ice in Croatia, Lagris in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Slovakia).

A contract was signed in Koprivnica on long-term cooperation in applying SAP technologies between Podravka d.d. and b4b d.o.o. The contract was signed by Darko Marinac, President of the Management Board of Podravka d.d. and Mato Ćatić, CEO of b4b d.o.o. The signing of this contract marks a new phase in cooperation between Podravka and b4b.

Podravka d.d. and the Croatian National Tourist Board signed a contract on long-term cooperation in Koprivnica yesterday. The contract was signed by Darko Marinac, President of the Management Board of Podravka d.d., and Niko Bulić, Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board.

A contract on the establishment of Podravka's Management Academy was signed at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb between Podravka d.d. and the Faculty of Economics. The establishment of this Academy is another step towards developing the management knowledge and skills of the staff of Podravka, which will allow for the more successful achievement of the company's business goals.

Podravka Food Industry d.d. and Unilever, Croatia, signed a contract on the distribution of ice cream over the entire territory of Croatia. According to this contract, the already existing co-operation between Podravka's Ital Ice d.o.o. and Unilever/Eskimo has been extended from the area of the Istria and Kvarner region to the rest of Croatia.
