Croatian Art Society Hall becomes a giant soup pot
Last week the Art Society Hall in Zagreb adopted a new appearance. It was turned into a huge burner-heated soup pot with a big spoon, to symbolize 50th anniversary of Podravka's soups.

Podravka's Sustainable Development Report for 2005 is Podravka's first report on sustainable development made in compliance to global standards for reporting about sustainability, i.e. according to Guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) from 2002. This new Report holds information about Podravka's business and achieved economic, environmental and social effects in the year 2005.

At its last session Supervisory Board complied with Management Board's decision to invest HRK 29.3 million in building a distribution center in Dugopolje near Split. This will be the first distribution center in Dalmatia, and its building will start this month, while the end of construction work is planned in June next year.

At a working meeting the Moldavian delegation presented their economy and the possibility of cooperation with local companies. Prime Minister Tarlev pointed out that the Moldavian market offers to all interested companies a direct export to all countries of the former Soviet Union.

Podravka has so far received the "Superbrand" award in Poland, Hungary and Russia where it was rewarded for the Vegeta brand. This time it was Podravka brand that was rewarded, as Vegeta is produced under that name for Czech and Polish market being Podravka's renowned product, recognizable in design by its blue color and the famous winking chef.

On Monday, 16. October, Podravka was visited by ambassador of Czech Republic to Croatia Petr Buriáne, accompanied by Vítĕzslav Schwarz, economic advisor at the Embassy and Vladimír VáŘ, director of representative office of Czech Trade state agency.

Signing this Contract, Podravka's part ownership of 8.5 % of the total capital stock in RTL Hrvatska d.o.o., is transferred to CLT - UFA SA, Luxembourg.

At the assembly held on October 3rd, 2006, Supervisory board of Podravka has agreed with Podravka's Board Decision to sell and transfer part ownership in RTL Hrvatska d.o.o.
