One day before the second semi-final match of the EHF Cup against “Slavia” from Prague, the “Podravka” female handball team visited the “Svitanje” Children’s Home in Koprivnica. They brought Easter gifts for the children who live in this home, and invited them to the match on Sunday in the Sports Hall. The boys and girls – 56 of them – were delighted to welcome the sportswomen, and the director of the Home, Petar Sokolović, warmly thanked the team and its president, Damir Polančec, for all the care they showed. The players also distributed tickets for the game against “Slavia” to Podravka’s employees whom they joined today, 6 April, for a snack. Besides this, they talked to the president of the Management Board of Podravka, Darko Marinac, and handed him a monograph entitled “The “Podravka” Handball Team 1955 – 2000”.
