Podravka achieved significant success in the “Green Flower” scheme organised by the Croatian Tourist Board as part of the project entitled “I Love Croatia”. Podravka was the only company to be nominated in two categories – planning of the company grounds and of the surroundings of the catering facility, and winning two second places in the the end. Belupo took second place behind Vindija from Varazdin for planning their area in Koprivnica, while Podravka’s recreation centre in Starigrad came second, just behind the winner, the “Zelenjak” restaurant in Kumrovec. The award ceremony was held in Trakoscan on Saturday, 27 October, and was attended by the Minister of Tourism, Pave Zupan Ruskovic and the President of the Croatian Tourist Board, Niko Bulic. Koprivnica, which was pronounced the second best planned town in continental Croatia, made its presence felt at the ceremony in the full sense of the word.
