Podravka
would hereby like to react on an article published today in daily newspaper Večernji
list titled „Mađari sa 10,64% dionica najveći vlasnici Podravke!” (Hungarians
with 10.64% of the shares the biggest shareholders of Podravka). In a part of
the text there is a statement by Miroslav Vitković, Podravka Management Board
president, where he confirms that OTP is now an owner of Podravka. Namely, the
statement that Miroslav Vitković gave to this subject was misinterpreted. Podravka
Management Board president said that there is a possibility that based on the
signed contracts OTP becomes an owner of 10.64 % Podravka shares, but there is
a number of actions that OTP needs to take in order to make that come true. It
is important to emphasize that both parties, and Podravka and OTP wish to
resolve the current situation peacefully and various solutions are being
considered.
