In preparation for the football game against the Scottish national youth team to be played on 10th October at the City Stadium in Koprivnica, the young Croatian national players were guests of Koprivnica and the Podravina region. Between training sessions, they visited Podravka, where a member of the Podravka Management Board, Davor Cimaš, told the players about the basic business activities of the largest Croatian food company. On this occasion, he stressed that Podravka, in spite of many economic difficulties, has been showing positive business results, with a tendency of further growth in turnover and profit, not only on the Croatian, but also on foreign markets. Davor Cimaš went on to mention the significant investment that Podravka is putting into sport, and regarding this, offered support to the young Croatian football players, not only during their stay in Koprivnica and Podravina, but also when playing in European competitions, particularly in countries where Podravka International is present. In the name of the Croatian national youth team, the selector of our young players, Martin Novoselec, expressed his gratitude for the hospitality of Podravka.
